Walk amongst the snowdrops at Cambo Estate
Experience a true sight of winter on a trip to the
Cambo
Estate, near St Andrews, when the beautiful gardens
are bursting with delicate white snowdrops and other beautiful
winter flowers.
Walk in the romantic, Victorian walled garden which is
designed around the Cambo Burn, with willows, waterfalls and
charming wrought-iron bridges. The 70 acres of gardens boast
more than 300 varieties of specialist snowdrops and even open their
gates for the annual Scottish
Snowdrop Festival.
Back by popular demand this winter, the largest specialist
snowdrop collection in Scotland will once again be on display from
1 February to 15 March, 2011.
Take a walk along the established paths, lined with white
snowdrops as part of your winter break in Scotland and watch the
meadows and woodland floors come alive under a blanket of
white.
