travelling by train in Scotland
Scotland has major rail stations in Aberdeen, Edinburgh Waverley and Edinburgh Haymarket, Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central, Perth, Stirling, Dundee and Inverness.
There are regular cross border railway services from England and Wales, and good city links.
You could even travel overnight on the First ScotRail Caledonian Sleeper train service from London and wake up to the sights and sounds of Scotland.
