Fascinating town house garden belonging to E.A. Hornel, artist and friend of Sam Arnott.  Drifts of snowdrops and hellebors with winter flowering shrubs. Open Monday - Friday, 1 Feb - 30 March,11am - 4pm. Entry by donation. House opens in April.

Castle Kennedy & Gardens

Enjoy the stunning swathes of snowdrops along the loch shores, as well as the opportunity to explore these famous gardens located on an isthmus surrounded by 2 natural lochs. The spring flowers, rhododendron displays, tree trails, gift shop and tearoom make this a ‘must visit’ garden. Open weekends in February and March, 10.00am – 5.00pm (adults £5.00).

Visit the Galloway Forest Park and enjoy a walk in the woods with carpets of wonderful wild snowdrops to delight you. Open daily: sunrise to sunset, free entry.
